A humanitarian crisis has unfolded in the wake of the 2022 Russian Invasion that continues to devastate Ukraine and its people. The conflict has resulted in the fastest-moving and most massive displacement of people in Europe since the second World War. The UN estimates that 18 million people, most of whom are women and children, will be affected by the conflict, including 7.7 million who are likely to be internally displaced. Russian attacks on innocent civilians have already forced over 7 million people to flee their homes. Now more than ever, we must come together to support and help Ukrainian Refugees and asylum-seekers.
The people of Ukraine continue to face a critical situation with serious damage to their infrastructure, including their hospitals and schools. While thousands work on the ground to get families to safety and provide life-saving care, we are all able to do our part for those in crisis. Your donation helps Ukrainian Refugees recover from the crisis they continue to face.
The Refugee Support Foundation is an IRS 501(c) charitable foundation dedicated to providing funds for shelter, food, heat, and medicine focusing on single mothers with children. Help Ukrainian refugees and asylum-seekers by donating today.
"Until February 24, 2022, I had an absolutely normal life in Poltava, like all people – my own apartment, a favorite job, my daughter went to school, my mother is a pensioner. Everything was set up. I could not even imagine that this would happen. Russia attacked Ukraine and a full-scale war began! I did not see the prerequisites for this. I didn’t think I would ever be in this situation."
"My name is Dana. Until February 24, I lived happily with my mother and 15-year-old son in Kiev in Ukraine. But on February 24, around 5 a.m., we woke up to very powerful bursts that shook the house and cold terror froze in the body! I knew that we were being bombed! Everyone who had the opportunity fled the city en masse in panic."
"The war has begun. Explosions, a rocket, war planes. Great fear and panic, danger for the life of my 5-year-old daughter. My daughter and I had to drop everything and evacuate from eastern to western Ukraine."
With your help, we create a more welcoming world for people seeking refuge.
